Speeding Herbie!
Earlier this evening, I had Herbie out for a cuddle. Although, due to all his fidgeting, I put him on the sitting room floor for some exercise. Feeling excited, he quickly broke into a run, charging around and around a box inside the hallway. Adding powerful popcorn jumps, he made it obvious that he was enjoying himself. Too bad I didn't catch it on camera.
Nicknames
My guinea pigs have several nicknames, here are just some of them:
Herbie (real name Herbert): Blossom:
Herboo Possom
Werboo Poss
Bubbaboy Poss Poss
Fluffle Mouse Face (baby nickname)
Fluffy boy Blossy
Fluffy Poissoo
Turbal Poiss Turbalnator Pzz Pzz
Werboonator. Podgems
Blossom; a guinea pig of royalty
Blossom the guinea pig loves to have her way. Throwing her little mood swings, she certainly is one of the bossier pigs. As we piggy slaves scrub her cage, she sits on the floor staring while eating a piece of hay, probably laughing her little head off. When enjoying a cuddle, Blossom makes sure all attention is on her. Her strict demands and complaints never go unnoticed as shreds her newspaper and growls at Herbie.
She definitely has a piggy attitude.
Blossom makes the world go round
Blossom definitely isn't a skinny pig. After eating to much food, she was put on a diet by the vet. Even despite of the limited pellets, she is still chubby. I edited this photo bellow to fit this topic.
Blossom's slumber
Little Blossom loves cuddles. Using her piggy slave (me) as a bed, she loves to curl on her favourite red blanket. In this photo bellow, Blossom has settled nicely on her blanket.
Herbie the guinea pig's profile
Herbie the guinea pig arrived in August 2010 and has been causing mischief ever since. At first, he lived with his little brother, George, untill the two grumpy pigs fell out. We (us three piggy slaves) tried hard to make them get along by neutering them to make them less boystrous, although it didn't work.
On April the 7th 2011, we finally managed to rehome George, although we decided to keep Herbie. That afternoon, when we were shopping, we stumbled across a little girl guinea pig (Blossom) and took her home to live with Herbie. Today Blossom and Herbie are best buddies and share a two story indoor cage.
Herbie, being a much happier guinea pig, now shows his cheekiness. He loves to run and popcorn from the sitting room, through the hallway and into the cloakroom. This little pig loves attention, but can't sit still for one minute. At night, Herbie likes to squeal loudly and kick his bowl down the ramp so we feed him, even though he had already had his food.

Blossom the guinea pig's profile
Meet Blossom the guinea pig. She arrived in around April the 7th 2011 and has been with me ever since. Blossom first came across as a shy, small and sleek guinea pig, but time has told otherwise. She is now not so thin or as shy, but just as cute.
A year later, Blossom has become more social able and also more demanding. Being her piggy slave, I especially feel her bossy side as well as her two others.
Bellow: one of the piggy slaves (not me) bowing down to Blossom and being used as a piggy bed.
